wall air conditioners versus mini ductless air conditioners?

Well Im 90 miles from Houston lol and I agree they are hard to seal the wall/window units and some times need the hole cute bigger or packed in smaller for different sizes. I have never know a wall unit to last 10 yrs barely 5
