Sinus Trouble
Some of us are fortunate enough to not have the problem of dealing with a sinus infection, but for the many of us that do it can be a real pain. Its usually followed by a viral infection when a bacterium has entered the sinus cavities and mucus buildup causes inflammation of the nasal passageways, making it hard to breathe and other common symptoms such as headaches, constant pressure in the eyes, nose and face. In chronic cases the symptoms are intensified and it may also be accompany by fever and severe coughing. Thats why we seek out instant relief from the dreaded sinus infection. Here are some natural remedies to help you recover.
Drinking warm herbal tea with eucalyptus also peppermint tea with lemon and honey works well in decongesting your swollen nasal membranes. Getting enough fluids such as orange and apple juice, but especially warm liquids it helps to loosen and thin out the mucus.
There are many remedies available to one suffering from sinus trouble. First of all its important to stay in a place where plenty of fresh air is available. The rooms where one stays should not be too cool or too warm. It is also important to undertake regular exercises so as to keep the body healthy. It is important to take plenty of cool liquids like water and fruit juices and to avoid alcohol intake or take it moderately. Inhaling hot water vapor is a welcome remedy so is being in hot compresses, saunas and even steam rooms.
You know the answer to the question What is sinusitis?, but did you also know the answer to a cure may already be in your kitchen? Certain spicy or pungent foods, like garlic, cayenne peppers, and horseradish, are known to contain the same chemicals found in sinusitis-fighting drugs and decongestants. Oranges are a milder alternative, as the Vitamin C found in the fruit is known to minimize sinus congestion.
However, we're not perfect and may catch it regardless, so let's examine some common ways that we can treat the symptoms of Sinusitis. Decongestants such as pseudoephedrine and phenylpherine are good temporary remedies that help drain the sinuses. Prescribed inhalers, while not decongestants, assist in healing the sinus membranes. Over-the-counter nasal sprays like Dristan and Afrin are basically 'spray' versions of decongestants and can be used for a few days or so. Humidifiers or sprays that contain salt water in them will 'melt' the infected sinuses away (so to speak).
Staying in a clean environment is paramount. If the air outside your compound is not quality, ensure that you are indoors. Avoid smoking as well as contact with anyone who is smoking as this will increase attacks.
Sinuvil is a natural product which works to completely heal the sinus trouble without causing any side effects as it is a natural remedy that does not contain harmful antibiotics. It contains herbal extracts which helps to relieve the sinus pressure which aids in getting rid of painful headaches. It also works naturally to boost the immune system of a person thus empowering the bodys defense system. It also has flavoid formulas which aid to soothe the painful as well as the swollen tissues which cause the sinus trouble.

Which is best for baby: humidifier, vaporizer, or air purifier?
Differences? Reasons? I just want to ensure that my baby is breathing in the cleanest air possible, but with enough humidity in the room. Which will best suit my baby's needs? Excuse me, I'm currently nesting and going crazy to ensure that everything will super, super, super clean. Even the air, lol.
Hmm. I like all of them and use all of them.
Humidifier = helps make the room more humid.
Vaporizer = I always thought this dispersed vapors in the air, like the Vicks vaporizer that puts out eucalyptus and menthol into the air to help them when they have a cold. Ours is built into the humidifier, but it does work well when there's a cold.
Air Purifier = While I like air purifiers, I find that just dusting the room does more for the air quality. Also cleaning the bed, washing the pillowcases/sheets/blankets regularly. As someone who has a lot of allergies, this works better than most of them on the market. However if you're wanting a good one, get one that uses water to filter the air, I've had the best responses to those, but that might be because the air comes out not only clean but not so dry it irritates the skin and sinuses.
