What is the difference :: Free and non free hosting?

July 13, 2010 - 4:23 am 2 Comments

I have always wonder.

What is the difference between free and non free hosting.
Other the the fact one if free and the other is not.

Thank you for any information you may have
I really don’t mind the cost.

It depends on the hosting service. Some free hosting might let you set up a personal site for free but an ecommerce site may cost you. Others may give you full features but insert advertisements in your site.

There are a lot of business models so if you’re thinking of selecting a hosting service then be sure to read their details.

how much space does go daddy free hosting give?

July 13, 2010 - 4:20 am 2 Comments

go daddy Free Hosting with domain
if i use their free hosting …… how much space do they five and for how long?

To answer your question, Godaddy does not give free hosting. They give free parking to be exact, if you get domain(s) with them.

They may suck at hosting but if you just want something basic, they give a good price. They don’t exactly suck, if you know what you are doing.

I bought a domain from GoDaddy and it came with free hosting, dose it place ads on your site cause it’s free?

July 13, 2010 - 4:20 am 2 Comments

It’s 1 free hosting credit. I already have a hosting account I might link this website to that one which hosts my main website.

The free hosting is useless. Why not get another cheap hosting for that domain.

Would you say $4.95 for a full year of web hosting a good deal? Would paying less than $5 for a year be reasonable for a more reliable hosting plan? Are you waiting for a once-in-a-lifetime crazy hosting promotion so you do not need to jump from one free hosting to another?

I found a hosting company giving crazy promotion only for this month (July 2009), so hurry. I pasted the link in the source below.

Have fun.

Can I earn from a free web hosting just as paid hosting can?

July 13, 2010 - 4:16 am 5 Comments

If I have my site hosted from a paid hosting service I can earn revenues from ads. Can I also earn from my website if it is hosted free by a provider which offer such service?

You should be able to earn the same way even with a free provider. You just need to make sure you use providers that don’t have their ads on them such as blogger.com, wordpress.com or http://www.000webhost.com/110849.html

Good luck.

Are there any free hosting sites that allow you to use more than one IP address without auto-suspending it?

July 13, 2010 - 4:16 am 2 Comments

Me and my friends want to be able to work on a website project from our own computers at home once it a while, but all the free hosting sites we use seem to only allow us to use one IP address? Any webmasters on here that might know any free hosting sites that allow more than one IP address per account?

I didn’t know this was a problem with most free hosts. We have no restrictions on this type of access. I know I update our site from multiple places, so why shouldn’t you be able to update yours?

If you don’t want to go with our hosting (IsMyWebsite.com), I’d recommend then Zymic. They’re probably a close second best. Excellent resources to find free hosting providers: Free-WebHosts.com and FreeWebSpace.net.

is there any free hosting sites similar to host monster?

July 13, 2010 - 4:16 am 4 Comments

I am looking for a free hosting site similar to host monster.

No, you can’t find anything like that for free, but you can for pretty cheap.

For example iPage is even better than Hostmonster (or Bluehost) and they have a 50% discount right now, hosting and a domain name for $42/year ($3.50/month).
