I need help on how to host a domain. I have my own cPanel and the option is already turned on for my account. Please help?
Well, I have a domain, and a cPanel. And I want to offer domain hosting. I have the option setup for my account already. And I clicked Addon Domains. Is there any othe step to it? Etc.

I also just want a step by step tutorial to see if I am doing everything correct.

I would need a bit more info, here is a webhost guide which has some cPanel guides:

How can i download a file from a website direct to my hosting account?

July 13, 2010 - 4:40 am 1 Comment

I surely dont need to download then upload every file???
Using cpanel on a shared hosting server

It’s easiest to just download then upload every file. However, if you setup the ftp address of your webserver in My Network Places (in Windows), then you could probably choose to save each file directly to your webserver. If you’re using Linux or a Mac, there is probably also a way to do this in those OS’s, too, but I don’t know how. No guarantees that my suggestion for Windows will work, either, as I have never tried. However, you will have to have some way to save the file to your webserver in order to avoid having to download and then upload every file.

Just got a Linux cPanel Virtual Private Server hosting and?

I cannot for the life of me find the file manager or the public folder directory so I can upload html files, images or scripts. All I managed to do so far was change the nameservers, add a hostname, which is some word plus my domain name, again, this is for a Linux cPanel VPS acct., NOT shared.
Since it is an unmanaged VPS acct no support is given by Dotster
anyone know of a in-depth and easy tutorial, besides this host. I need this really quick.

I need a reliable hosting service with CPANEL/Fantastico for a hotel startup website. Any ideas?

I suggest you try Hostgator

http://www.bizoffers4you.com/likes/hostgator

Full cPanel, regularly updated Fantastico, good live support, fast servers.

I have been using them for almost two years now and have to say the experience has been pretty good.

Have used their live support twice in this time to sort out a problem (of my own causing) and they resolved the situation within minutes!

If you can go for one of their reseller accounts, around $25 a month, you can add almost unlimited sites with loads of extras, great for when your business expands.

A reseller account with them allows me to run my own hosting service which covers the whole cost of the account plus allows me to run about thirty of my own sites at the same time – you won’t beat that combination!

More info on that on this lens

http://www.squidoo.com/thirty_minute_webpages/

Even their basic shared hosting at $6.95 a month rocks!

May i know where can i get a $1/m hosting with high speed, cPanel, full features?

I found a list of free ones here. Asking for ad-free hosting is usually not too hard without ever having to pay a dime…

Free Web-Hosting,No Ads,NO cPanel…easy site builder?

July 13, 2010 - 4:37 am 4 Comments

I do not understand my cPanel…(I already have a paid hosting account). I want to make a couple of quick websites with an easy to use site builder/html editor and publish without having to FTP.
I already tried freewebs and 50webs. The problem is the ads!
(I also have domains so no sites that require registering a domain with them)

Anyone know any free hosting that fits the bill.
No ads (banners,popunders,pop-ups) and easy publishing/building NOT cPanel.

Getting ‘Free’ web hosting is easy….there are many available.
And as you already know; the presents of ads is almost unavoidable!
There is one which you may like to try ….It’s free also….is a cost-free, banner-free business hosting network that does NOT place annoying banners on members’ web pages.

Made a review on this particular service….go for the free service!

For a free hosting service, it is getting more praises then complaints. They are getting good rating on overall services, on their uptime and reliability, technical support and customer services.

It will be great for testing mini sites and new products.

There is also a write up on web hosting setting at:

And take a look at the a quick and simple way for you to
build your own website for free:

Hope all these helps.

Web Hosting: Migrante WHM/Cpanel accounts from one server to another?

July 13, 2010 - 4:34 am 1 Comment

Hello, I want to know how I can migrate all my 25+ clients from my old whm/cpanel reseller Server, to my new one!

Right now I don’t have root access, somebody can tell me what’s the best solution to resolve this problem?

Do you have cpanel access to all your sites? You’d have to do home directory backups and restore them on the new server. If you have access to the backup utility – then have it FTP the tar.gz file to the new server account – then use File Manager to extract the files.

How much are you paying for your reseller account? Check out http://www.DependableHost.net – they rock!
