July 13, 2010 - 5:00 am 7 Comments

Friends, i want to host a mp3 website. It will consume more memory. So i want unlimited hosting plan. But i want the hosting amount will be within $5/month. Any idea?. And one more point i want to host my website like a forum. So everyone can register and upload their files. Based on their performance i want to give points and levels. Is it possible?. Which forum is better. Phpbb or vbulletin. Can i trust http://www.webhostingpad.com because they offer unlimited plan for within $4. Please give your ideas. I will be very thankful to you.

I recommend one of these: http://www.hosttell.com/

Powweb is on a 50% sale – $3.88/month ($46.56/year), and you get a free domain from them.

They offer easy one click install of phpBB forums.

They’re a better host than webhostingpad although more expensive, but now with this promotion they are even cheaper than webhostingpad.

Website URL hosting for cheap?

July 13, 2010 - 4:57 am 3 Comments

I bought URL at Yahoo (smallbusiness.yahoo.com) last year. But now, Yahoo has increased the fee for annual renewal to $35! Can you pl recommend any site to which I can transfer my URL to and keep it there for cheap? I do not need any storage space because I mask forward to the Geocities site where I actually store all my sites. Thanks!

Yes. Yahoo is a ripoff now and they kept this quiet too about raising the price to $35/year! We use Netfirms – http://tinyurl.com/netfirms : $5.95 domain name (includes private domain registration, this is important to keep spammers from harvesting your email and is a $6.99 option at places like GoDaddy).

Also, Geocities is really not that great a host, recommend that you try Microsoft Office Live Small Business – http://starturl.com/officelive . It’s tons beter than Geocities – no bandwidth limit and has 500mb of storage.

Which is the best website hosting solution?

July 13, 2010 - 4:54 am 5 Comments

I am looking for cheap and best website hosting solutions particularly in India which support wordpress and give optimum data storage and transfer limit…

hi, there,

I have the same question as you few months ago when I was looking for the "best website hosting". Actually if you clearly know how to define the best host, your question will be answered by yourself.

The article of "how do you define best host?" give me help. Here are some points I want to share with you:

"How Do You Define Best Host?

…There are many factors need to take into consideration.

Most fitting your websites need
Before you define the best web host, you need to know your website first…

Offering reliable hosting services
Reliability is the key to success on internet. The best web host should have solid infrastructure and technology system… If a web host can not guarantee its uptime and don’t give you at least 30 days money back guarantee, you absolutely need to move to other hosting providers.

Providing 24/7 telephone customer support
Some web hosts just offer email or online ticket support for their hosting services. This is not acceptable…24/7 telephone support is absolutely an important criteria of defining the best host.

Offering competitive price.."

You can read the article and you will get idea of choosing the best web hosting.

Good Luck

I need website hosting, good (professional) hosting, but i would like a "trial" or cheap first month etc.?

Im new to this whole thing and dont want to pay alot upfront, i want to give it a try/demo and if it works out for me then i wont have a problem paying every month. Any ideas?

There are some hosting sites that charge you monthly (like Hostgator) but they’re usually a lot more expensive that way so it’s not really worth it. For example Hostgator charges $9.95/month + $15.00 for a domain name, so for like $45.00 you get 3 months of hosting. For that price you might as well get a full year of hosting (including a domain name).
A lot of hosts are willing to offer a huge discount in order to attract new customers.

I recommend one of these: http://www.tophostingpicks.com

iPage has the best offer right now.
Their standard price is $84/year ($6.95) but they have
a 50% sale, one year of hosting for $42.00.

Their plan includes:

Unlimited disk space
Unlimited bandwidth
Free domain name

Price: $42/year ($3.50)

They have one of the most popular hosting platforms, which currently hosts over a million websites. They’re also one of the oldest hosting companies, founded in 1998.

They include a free point & click online site builder so you can create a website without any programming (easily, just by drag and drop).

They also have a great custom control panel with OneClick installs of all the popular software like Wordpress, Joomla, Forums, Chat, Galleries, Online stores and a lot more.

What’s the cheapest website hosting?

July 13, 2010 - 4:53 am 3 Comments

I want one where you pay per month. I want to find the cheapest one.

On today’s market there are literally thousands of web hosting providers. Choosing a web host is not so easy task. Once committed to one, it will become very difficult to move your business elsewhere – not to mention the damage that can be done to your business if you make the wrong choice. This makes it very important to “get it right the first time”. Find out as much as you can about your prospective web host before making any decisions.

The perfect web hosting directory (I use it myself) to get an idea of what web hosting companies are the most popular, the most successful, or even the most affordable is http://www.web-host-rankings.com – You can pay monthly for mostly all of the Top 10.

This web hosting directory incorporates in-depth research, first-hand experience, and analysis of comprehensive consumer reviews to rank your top web hosting options.

Also, make sure you get the best deals (extremely important if you are on a budget). You can find web hosting coupons and promo codes that will save you a lot of money when you purchase your web hosting package, the website is http://www.mywebhostingcoupons.com

And finally, while doing your research, make sure that you are using credible websites, be on the look out for scams.

Good luck,
Kyle

Cheap web hosting company for my website?

July 13, 2010 - 4:53 am 6 Comments

I have a domain name so would need to transfer that, my web hosting account at the mo is with host Papa, but they want £60 a year and I’m shopping around for less, any ideas? I build my website at home with dreamweaver so must be compatible with that.

Dont answer unless its a real web company for less than £60 per year please, ta x

£29 Per Year

http://www.hostmonsterplus.com is best for both price and quality.
These are just some of my reasons:
It supports PHP, MySQL, and almost anything you’ll need.
It comes with a free domain name… ex: whateveryouwant.com
It has unlimited storage and bandwidth.
You can also add an unlimited amount of domain names.
So with one account you can have many different .com websites. I have 6 right now.
Only $3.95 per month. (£29 Per Year)
They also give you free $50 Google Credits for advertising your site.

I’ve been using them for 3 years and I’ll give them my thumbs up.

Whatever you decide, best of luck.

What is the cheapest place for website hosting?

July 13, 2010 - 4:50 am 7 Comments

I’m interested in having about 8 domain names linking up to one central website, which I have yet to make. Please consider all fees which will be incurred to. Thanks!

I recommend one of these: http://www.hosttell.com/

Powweb is on a 50% sale – $3.88/month ($46.56/year), and you get a free domain from them.

You can register the additional domain names with your host or you could use a 3rd party registrar like:
Namecheap http://www.namecheap.com
Standard price: $9.69
Price with a promo code: $8.81
(their promo code for January is HAPPY2009 )

or

Godaddy http://www.godaddy.com
Standard price: $9.99
Price through a promo link: $7.69 ($7.49 + $0.20)
(their promo link is at the bottom of http://www.hosttell.com )

What is the cheapest website hosting + domain I can get?

July 13, 2010 - 4:50 am 7 Comments

I found www.bluehost.com.. and it’s $6.95 (or so) a month + free set up and domain if I stay with them for 2 years.

I’ve heard about hosting I could get, though, for about $10 for a year.

I would like to have a control panel or something along with it, a domain, etc as well.

?.?

www.godaddy.com for cheap domains
http://webhost4life.com/ for cheap hosting.

I wouldn’t choose bluehost unless you really want to commit for 2 years.
